ABOUT SOUTHERN HEMISPHERE SPORTS - UK Rugby Union Agents

Since 1995, Southern Hemisphere Sports have placed many rugby and cricket players, from South Africa, Australia, New Zealand and in the UK into European Rugby Clubs.. We have also sourced talented UK players into clubs, including the premiership. Many of the Southern Hemisphere players we represent, have European passports or ancestry.

SHS placed Ian Jones with Gloucester RFC and former Springbok captain Dan Van Zyl to Bristol RFC. SHS organises Southern Hemisphere 7, 10 and 15-a-side rugby fixtures in the UK. The players are invited from leading UK clubs.

The SHS New Zealand Wekas and the SHS South African Impalas compete each year for the GP Challenge cup. SHS organised the first ever professional club level game in the UK. Mon May 6th 1996. A 46-24 win for the SHS NZ Wekas over the London Scottish RFC senior XV, then premiership. The NZ Wekas have also beaten London Welsh RFC senior XV.

SHS enters squads into many European 7s tournaments. SHS also runs the London 10s tournament played day after Middlesex sevens, Next tournament Sunday 18th August. A

Alistair Trotman, the director of SHS, played rugby for Victoria University in Wellington NZ and for the Wellington Province u21 team. Alistair travels all over Europe and the Southern Hemisphere each year sourcing players.
